Medicine knows many reasons for infertility, but solutions often
focus solely on artificial insemination.
Supporting the most natural process of humanity with natural methods
first is surprisingly not top of mind - for doctors or couples
alike. In this area, reconnecting with nature is of essential
importance. Non-harmful therapies come first!
For a successful pregnancy, it's especially important to follow a holistic concept. This helps to harmonize and relieve the entire organism, positively influencing both pregnancy and birth. That way, mother and child can enjoy a healthy experience throughout.
The doctor-patient/couple conversation should already be part of the therapy. In the biological fertility program, the causes of infertility are examined from a naturopathic and immunological perspective - expanding the range of treatment possibilities.
Infertility is often caused by unrecognized immunological issues.
With proper diagnostics - e.g., testing for sperm antibodies - these
causes can be identified. Since sperm are a foreign protein in the
woman’s body, the immune system may react by forming antibodies that
attack the man's sperm. These antibodies can block the sperm in the
cervical mucus before they ever reach the egg.
To downregulate these antibodies, a special vaccination is
administered, and the woman also receives a desensitization
treatment. The immune system is retrained to form a new antibody
that neutralizes the damaging one.
The couple's immune response becomes balanced again, allowing sperm
to fertilize the egg naturally.
After years of using the contraceptive pill, a woman's hormonal
system may fall out of balance. Women often accept irregular cycles,
excessive or weak bleeding, or extreme pain as normal - all signs
that hormones are not in harmony.
The thyroid, as a highly sensitive hormonal organ, can also easily
become imbalanced and may hinder conception.
Alchemically-spagyric remedies and herbal medicine are particularly gentle and effective methods to help the hormonal system return to a balanced state.
A very important herb for women in such treatments is Lady’s Mantle,
the ultimate women's healing plant. Regularly drinking 2-3 cups as a
tea can support and balance hormone levels.
In spagyric medicine, metals also play an important role. Two
feminine, woman-empowering metals are copper and silver.
Remedies with spagyric copper strengthen the Venus energy and
support kidney function. Remedies with spagyric silver enhance the
Moon energy, regulate the cycle, support femininity on all levels,
and aid in emotional release and relaxation. These are just a few
examples of how naturopathy and traditional medicine offer a broad
range of effective, completely natural treatments - all tailored to
the individual.
A woman’s lower abdomen can become stressed by cyclical changes,
surgeries, hormone stimulation, and more. This may lead to a
blockage in the Frankenhauser plexus - a large nerve center - which
then becomes an interference field. As a result, optimal blood flow
and supply to the lower abdomen may be impaired.
Because this is a major autonomic center, such a block can
negatively affect all other autonomic centers in the body, even the
entire autonomic nervous system. So this interference field doesn’t
just affect fertility, but the woman’s overall well-being.
Neural therapy can eliminate interference fields and release blocks in this area. In women, the pelvic region is particularly prone to becoming an interference field. The same applies to men, where the prostatic plexus may also be blocked. This therapy is therefore ideal for improving poor sperm quality.
But not only the pelvic region - in classical neural therapy, all other potential interference fields such as scars, tonsils, sinuses, dental and jaw areas, prostate, etc., should be checked and treated.
By eliminating interference fields through injections with local anesthetics, the negative impact on the body's regulatory ability is interrupted - enabling healing. This effect is particularly impressive in what’s known as the “lightning reaction,” where healing of a remote disturbance occurs within seconds after treating the interference field.
Neural therapy is a naturopathic method and part of modern regulatory therapies with very few side effects. Only rarely occurring allergies to local anesthetics like procaine or lidocaine may require discontinuation of the treatment.
One of the most important components of the biological fertility
program is thorough and properly executed detoxification for both
partners. Conventional detoxification using organ-supporting
remedies only covers part of the picture - typically flushing out
water-soluble toxins. Fat-soluble toxins, however, are often
overlooked in Western medicine.
Ayurvedic medicine addresses these through oil massages, sesame oil
pulling in the mouth, and the use of oils and ghee to cleanse the
body from within.
Another effective method is detoxing mercury and other heavy metals using chelation therapy, which binds mercury safely and eliminates it via the kidneys. Experience shows that even small amounts of mercury may be enough to prevent pregnancy!
Improving sperm quality is useful not only in cases of poor sperm analysis. Men undergoing this therapy often experience increased performance and a general sense of well-being. Taking 3g of L-carnitine daily along with zinc can improve both the quality and quantity of sperm. As mentioned earlier, injections targeting the nerve plexus in the male pelvic area are also highly important and can quickly restore vitality and energy.
Fears, depression, and guilt are common emotional burdens for couples with long-standing fertility struggles. The therapist must show sensitivity and empathy to uncover and process these emotional conflicts - or refer the couple to a trusted colleague. It is vital that the couple learns to regain trust in nature and their own bodies, embracing their femininity or masculinity. In some cases, a therapeutic conversation may even reveal that it's time to let go of the desire to have children and begin reorienting life.
To stay calm and positive during the fertility journey, supportive therapies such as music therapy, yoga, visualization, fertility massages, and bodywork are very popular and effective.
Constant subconscious stress and pressure increase cortisol levels, which in turn affects both the immune and hormonal systems. Regular physical activity helps reduce stress and emotional tension. It also improves overall fitness, which benefits fertility and health in every respect.
Whatever the causes of infertility may be, there is no
one-size-fits-all solution. Individualized, holistic therapy is
essential. Non-harmful treatment has top priority. The therapist
should bring not only expertise and patience but also dedication and
genuine care for the topic. Although the biological fertility
program may bring quick results, in most cases, therapy lasting at
least six months is necessary.
Choosing an interdisciplinary approach is particularly valuable -
meaning treatments from conventional medicine, naturopathy,
psychosomatics, psychology, bodywork, etc., should work together
hand in hand.
